How much does Disney Plus cost in the US?
For our US readers the prices of a monthly subscription has changed as of December 8, 2022 and there are now various packages with varying degrees of adverts involved. A basic, ad-supported package now costs $7.99 a month.

If you want to avoid the disruption of ads, your subscription price will jump up to $10.99 a month for the privilege.
The introduction of adverts will also impact Disney bundle plans. A Disney Plus and Hulu package will cost $9.99 and will have ads. A bundle of Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN Plus will cost $12.99 and will also include ads.
How much does Disney Plus cost in the UK?
A Disney Plus subscription in the UK costs just £7.99 per month, or you can save 15% and subscribe for a whole year for just £79.90.
At present there is no news on an ad-supported package for Disney Plus subscribers in the UK, but we assume some changes will come to British shores before too long. So, don’t be surprised to see prices go up, and adverts introduced in the future.
Does Disney Plus offer a free trial?
Unfortunately not. When Disney Plus initially launched in the UK and US Disney were offering a seven day free trial for new members but that’s a thing of the past.
Disney removed the free trial option back in 2020 around the time Hamilton arrived on the platform. In an interview with Variety from the time a House of Mouse representative explained this decision.
