Amazon drops 'No Rush' delivery for Prime Members

It appears that Amazon Prime members no longer have the option for 'No Rush' delivery in return for a digital credit. One of the key benefits of the Prime programme for many was the option to have their packages sent out slightly later at a presumed reduced cost for Amazon and in return they'd get £1 credited to their account that could be redeemed against digital order.

We've spoken to Amazon and they have confirmed that No Rush deliveries are no longer an Amazon service which will be a disappointment to many who have made use of that delivery option and received the benefit to date.

When asked whether the benefit change is permanent, an Amazon representative told us "Yes, we have removed permanently removed."

Amazon is still a great source of deals, but this will be one reason for a lot of customers to be unhappy.

We need your help

Running a website like The Digital Fix - especially one with over 20 years of content and an active community - costs lots of money and we need your help. As advertising income for independent sites continues to contract we are looking at other ways of supporting the site hosting and paying for content.

You can help us by using the links on The Digital Fix to buy your films, games and music and we ask that you try to avoid blocking our ads if you can. You can also help directly for just a few pennies per day via our Patreon - and you can even pay to have ads removed from the site entirely.
