What is Amazon Prime?
Amazon Prime is the subscription service from Amazon that brings with it a number of benefits. The first is FREE next day delivery on all eligible products - if Amazon supply it themselves then it's almost certainly included, but also if it's a third party retailer who fulfils their deliveries via Amazon's network then their products are included too.
There are exclusive prices on some products for Prime Members and sometimes products themselves are only available from Amazon to Prime subscribers.
Not only that, you also get access to Amazon Prime Video which is a huge selection of TV and film that can be watched via their streaming service. There is a huge amount of Amazon produced content on there from the excellent Man in the Hight Castle through to exclusives such as Outlander.
Prime members also get their own exclusive sale day each July - Amazon Prime Day is a sale that offers massive discounts across loads of products on the site, Amazon claim it's their best 36 hours of discounts all year.
Prime Music is Amazon's optimised music service that allows Amazon Prime customers to stream, store, manage and play music anywhere from the cloud.
Kindle users get loads of benefits too. Kindle Owners' Lending Library gives Prime members access to borrow one book per month at no additional cost while Kindle First gives Prime members early access to download a new book every month at no additional cost from the Kindle First picks. Then there is Prime Reading in which you can borrow books, magazines, and more from the Prime Reading catalogue and read them on your Fire tablet, Kindle e-reader, or the Kindle reading apps for iOS and Android.
If you've never tried Prime then you can get a FREE TRIAL of the service - so you can get all of the above free for one month, sometimes the free trial lasts longer.
There are two payment options - £79 per year or £7.99 per month.
