Fujifilm misogynistic promotional stunt winds the clock back a few decades

Camera maker, Fujifilm have come under intense criticism when PAID test of their new GFX 50s surprised those who were at the event with a test photoshoot with a topless model. This isn't something we'd expect of a huge brand in 2017 and one that shows up the industry to be stuck in the past.

In a series of tweets, photographer Danny North described the event up until the point he walked out in disgust.

Fair play to Danny for calling the camera maker out on this stunningly inappropriate display of misogyny. This kind of low-rent promotion was rightly left in the past a long time ago and is at least hugely offensive.

We back Danny's call for Fujifilm to make a donation to Women's Aid in his latest tweet
