Preview: 2000 AD #1883 & the 2000 AD Sci-fi Holiday Special!
Another bumper week for 2000 AD fans this week as the revived 2000 AD Sci-fi Holiday Special hits stores alongside the latest Prog of the galaxy's greatest comic!
In this week's Prog (below you can see the stunner of a cover from Nick Percival) a new Dredd story, 'Trauma Town' begins as Nick Percival's delicious painted art returns to 2000 AD after a twenty year absence for this brand new Dredd story.
Also in this Prog are the continuations of mind-bending Indigo Prime, more investigations in Outlier, carnage in the latest Slaine and the first part of a new Tharg's 3riller, In Seconds Flat. Research scientists Scott and Lily have been seeing each other for eight months, but he has yet to invite her back to his place. Does he have something to hide?
Hitting newsagents this Wednesday is the 2000AD Sci-Fi Holiday Special!
It was one of the staples of hazy childhood summers, an extra dose of Thrill-power for the holidays. But now the 2000 AD Sci-Fi Special is back and with a new mission - to unveil a new generation of comics creators!
This 50-page special gives new and upcoming creators with the chance to work on some of 2000 AD’s finest characters - including Rogue Trooper, Robo-Hunter and Durham Red.
It includes a new Judge Dredd story from the first female writer to ever write Mega-City One’s greatest lawman, Emma Beeby, with art from Eoin Coveney, plus: Guy Adams turns his hand to Rogue Trooper, there's also new stories featuring Robo-Hunter, Durham Red, Orlok the Assassin and a brand new Future Shock!
