Ghostbusters 3 still on the cards
Sony has announced the much-anticipated/debated sequel Ghostbusters 3 is still very much on the cards, despite the recent passing of Harold Ramis.
Ramis, star and co-writer of the first two Ghostbusters films, was supposed to make a cameo appearance in the sequel, alongside other original members Dan Ackroyd and Bill Murray, but plans to keep Ghostbusters 3 slated for production have been in limbo since his death on 24th February.
GB III's director Ivan Reitman is rumoured to meet with Sony in the upcoming weeks to discuss how to the move the project forward, which will probably incorporate script changes by The Office writers Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky.
So, despite the death of Ramis, it looks like Ghostbusters 3 is still a possible future film though production will not start until 2015.
