Introducing Gaming @ The Digital Fix
The Digital Fix launches
Gaming @ The Digital Fix
15th August 2011 sees the launch of a major new section on The Digital Fix.
Gaming @ The Digital Fix aims to bring the same enthusiasm and reliability that we are known for in our film, music and television coverage. This platform-agnostic gaming website will bring the latest news, reviews and exclusive features to the growing readership of The Digital Fix.
Lewis Brown, editor of the newly launched section said ‘The team and I are tremendously excited to be able to offer gaming coverage to all of our readers, new and old. As mobile technology helps make the presence and possibility of gaming ever more ubiquitous it is increasingly important that this medium is viewed in a fashion that appreciates and integrates with our modern digital lifestyle and we believe that The Digital Fix is best placed to deliver this service.’
Gaming @ The Digital Fix joins the network’s award winning Music, Film, Home Cinema and Television sections and fills the one major remaining gap in our coverage. Aiming to cover gaming platforms from the earliest days of the industry and going forward into whatever treats we have in store in the next decade gives the site massive amounts of potential for growth and coverage and our industry links will ensure up-to-the-minute information appears with no delay.
We already have a large, enthusiastic team who have been working hard to provide content for the site ready for launch and we are expecting rapid growth in content and readers over the coming weeks and months.
The Digital Fix publisher, Colin Polonowski, commented ‘with the launch of this new section, we will not only reach new audiences, but also fulfil the wishes of our current readership who have been asking for a video games area for a number of years. Video games are one of the most important and exciting entertainment mediums available right now and we’re really excited to be able to bring the same passion to our game coverage as we do across the rest of the site’
